Springers Holiday and After School Club

We believe we are the answer to happy, safe, flexible, reliable and affordable child care.
Both the Holiday Club and After School Club are held within the secure premises of Lodge Farm Primary School. We welcome all children between 4-12 years of age from surrounding schools and areas.

We provide a variety or different activities, from: art and crafts; messy play; role play; construction; individual & group games and activities; ICT equipment (laptop; Ipads; DSi’s; Playstation3; Nintendo Wii & X-box360); baking; and much much more. There will also be the opportunity for quieter games and activities when the excitement gets a little too much! The children are offered many choices and are encouraged to join in the activities to mix with one another, helping them to build in confidence and to be more tolerant towards other people’s differences.

We are OFSTED registered, and ensure that all our full time staff/playleaders are appropriately trained in childcare (either NVQ level 2 or 3 qualifications) and have undergone an advanced DBS check. We believe in ongoing training in areas of importance; for example: First Aid, Epi-pen, Behaviour Management, Health and Hygiene, Food Hygiene, Special Needs, Inclusion, Child Protection & Safeguarding. Part time staff are DBS checked and work alongside playleaders as assistants.

Our aim is that through supervised play, the children have a fun and safe environment in which to learn and develop, make new friends, gain self confidence, and just enjoy themselves to the best of their ability.
